1st Rough Draft:

On the 25th January, me and my group managed to construct the first piece of our music video including the first verse and chorus. Putting everything into consideration I believe our teamwork and one person in group group's particular efforts outside of the lesson definitely sped up our production time. With our experiences with editing in our AS coursework preliminary task, this gave us a lot of knowledge of tools such as cutting, speeding up and slowing down certain shots.

As you can see from our 1st rough draft of Tokyo Police Club- Favourite Colour, we have closely followed ideas from videos similar to OK Go and Vampire Weekend. For example the speed of the morph characters running around at 0:21 is a technique we followed and took into our own creative perspective from the video A-Punk. I believe the speed and time we took to edit each shot to fit perfectly will definitely pay off in our final piece and the constant flow and timing of each chronological shot is very entropic, for example the speed at 0:21 and then the stop/start motion in the next.
